Reception Area
Franklin Equine offers a reception area for our clients that include generous seating options with two large screen televisions. Clients have a comfortable space while waiting for their appointment or for procedures to be completed. With two wood-burning fireplaces, this area offers a warm and inviting atmosphere to our clients during the winter months. Also, we have a hospitality bar that offers fresh brewed coffee, hot chocolate and other beverages for our clients. WiFi is also available. This area can also be used for client education meetings.

Exam Rooms 1 & 2
Each exam room offers climate controlled areas so that the client, patient and staff can be comfortable during the examination. Each room is extra large for ease of movement and to promote safety. Custom stocks are in these exam rooms. Exam room #1 provides a foal stock, so that mares with foals can be examined with her foal by her side and aid in containment of this foal. Each room has a large screen monitor so that clients can easily see procedures such as digital radiography images, endoscopic/gastroscopic images, and ultrasound images.

Consultation Room
We offer a consultation room for our clients. This area gives them privacy to discuss and make decisions regarding their horse’s specific needs and treatment plan.

Franklin Equine has a total of 14 stalls to accommodate our patients. There is one isolation stall for cases that demand separate accommodations to protect against potential infectious disease. The stall fronts are designed by Classic Equine. The single stalls are approximately 12’X 12’. Our large stalls are approximately 12’ X 24’. We have stall cameras so that patients can be monitored. Three stalls are equipped with fluid hangers for ICU cases.

Franklin Equine is situated on 15 acres. We currently have 7 paddocks that can be used for turn-out depending on patient needs. Also, they can be used for “day patients” that do not require over night hospitalization and prefer being outdoors.

Mobile Vet Trucks
Franklin Equine Services offers their clients state of the art mobile vet trucks. We have two ambulatory trucks that can service clients off site. They are equipped with custom stainless steel Stone Well Bodies. Each truck is self contained and equipped with refrigerators, large capacity water supplies, power inverters (in the event an electrical source is not available), and allows the room to carry all diagnostic equipment out in the field. We also have mobile laptops with HVMS veterinary software. This allows us to have access to our client/patient information at our disposal while out on calls away from the hospital. In addition, we can provide and print client statements and receive payments at that time.
