Respiration = 10-12 Breaths/Min
*These "normals" vary with different breeds, circumstances and environments

When to Call a Vet
 High Fever
 Severe Swelling
 Excessive Respiratory effort
 Serious Lacerations (Wounds)
 Significant Bleeding
 Acute/Non-Weight Bearing Lameness
 Ocular Trauma (Eye Injuries)
 Neurologic Signs (head pressing, stumbling, circling, extremely weak, etc.)
 Excessive Diarrhea
 Difficulty swallowing
